How often we wish we can turn back our time where we can start all over. Where we have lost and been robbed of our most precious; whether it is a relationship, youth, wealth, health, anything that is dear and close to us. We may have even foolishly thrown it all away, leaving only regret, shame and guilt. We know we are forgiven and our past forgotten by the cleansing blood of Jesus. But wouldn’t it be great if we can get back those years wasted and live them for the glory of the Lord?
Now you can!
And I will restore or replace for you the years that the locust has eaten–the hopping locust, the stripping locust, and the crawling locust, My great army which I sent among you.
And you shall eat in plenty and be satisfied and praise the name of the Lord, your God, Who has dealt wondrously with you. And My people shall never be put to shame.

Although the past is irrevocable, irreversible and unchangeable, but God is saying we are a new creation, and He can do just that! There is a new beginning for us, filled with new chances, new opportunities and new expectations. God will not only wipe away our rotten past. But He will RESTORE and REPLACE the good of what we have lost, destroyed, and robbed by the devil and its demonic army.
We will have plentiful and be completely satisified. He wants you to know that truth and the truth that HE is in the midst of His people! He is not an absentee Father, we are not orphans. He will not allow His people to be shamed anymore. This is a profound truth that no one else can claim.
I the Lord am your God and there is none else.

I used to pastor a church here in Holland Europe, but due to foolish decisions in 1995 I lost all my money and my chance to prosper my wife and kids. Since then I had to close down the church and we have spent all those years trying to make ends meet, hurting and unable to discern which way to get back to the place of Gods favour. I feel ashamed and sometimes I would rather die, because I made my wife so unhappy.
My trust has always been in the Lord and His word, but now I am 60 and it seems like all opportunities are gone I cannot hear God anymore.

I am sorry, but I have been waiting for years and all I have is more hurt. I am to the point that I am beginning to not believe. I have lost my family, a child that was lost during pregnancy and three other children who were not mine, but I love with all my heart. I lost my family when I lost my job. She won’t have anything to do with me. I am tired of hurting and waiting on God to restore what I have lost. I have now been divorced twice and just get by day to day. My anger toward God for taking everything away that I gave him will not allow me to give him anything else. I trusted him with everything and now I have nothing. I lost my family, my home, my career all because I really trusted God in everything. I am tired of being told that I have no faith. I jumped off of many cliffs in faith and God was not there. I am glad for everyone who God does touch, but I realize that I one who God ignores and watches me hurt.
I wish this was for me, but I have been practicing this for years and it just don’t work.
Yes, I am a Christian and I do believe in Jesus and have accepted him as my Savior. I study the Bible and have it in my heart. I now have zero hope.

I am reminded of the woman with the issue of bleeding blood (Mark 5:25-34). She suffered for 12 years and was broke because she spent all her fortune finding a cure but found none.
She a Jew would also probably have clinged onto God. However, her retoration came when she touched Jesus.
I believe your restoration would come if you have touched Jesus as well.

I have seen many people died in their Faith for JESUS. Head cut off, shot to death, tortured and many more.. Just for what?? THEIR “faith”,Because of their FAITH.. They died with an extremely violent way. They can avoiding from it from happens by turning back from their FAITH ON JESUS CHRIST. BUT they didn’t do it. THEY believe in FATHER GOD,JESUS and the heaven and the Hell.. Devils will not stop put us in between circumstances of choosing to believe or not. What is important for them is the END. Maybe now your life is full of blessing but DEVILS don’t care about that. They just care about the end of your life. Brother and Sister in Christ. People who died for their faith on JESUS have lost everything in their Life. But they didn’t thinks about their lost because when their choose to believe they know that they have to give everything.. EVERYTHING.. and LET GOD GUIDE their WAY.. STOP thinking about what you have LOST and start to think about what Have GOD did for you. HE leave his throne, His kingdom, His everything and came to the world to die for us so that we will be able to Leave with HIM one day. Same goes to us.. I came to this link for encouragement based on scripture I was reading about David’s life. Then stumbled upon these comments…chuck27 in particular…raised a question in my heart, mind, and spirit??? Could the disappointment experienced be from “re-marriage” Read what scripture has to say about marriage and divorce. I’m not positive that a believer can expect God’s blessing outside of obedience. Repentance means to turn away from, correct? So, once divorced, one is to remain unmarried as long as the x-spouse is living, or be reconciled to the x-spouse. Just read it and think about it. Many wonder why 2nd and 3rd marriages have higher risk divorce rate among Christians???
A marriage is suppose to last a lifetime, what God has put together , let no man tear it apart. But God make a way for divorce due to man’s unfaithfulness.
I have no answer for your question, to remain unmarried or not. But I know repetance is not only to turn away, but also to turn to God!
From there, the Holy Spirit will teach you what to do… Hear the Holy Spirit that is in you!

Hey Chuck, I just want to say I realised what it means to lose your faith in God because of all your losses. I recently lost something I worked to the bone to gain and I lost a lot of faith in myself and God. I broke down and almost surrended to Satan’s lies. But please don’t ever forget that God is there and he will help. I know that mere words won’t help completly but the word of God is no mere word and it helped me. I’m still trying to reclaim my faith and continue my goals in spite of what I lost. I pray that you will be healed in the name of Jesus, God Bless You Sir.

I want my lost relationship to be restored.
I have also just lost my home. I am sitting in a Mcdonalds parking lot using the internet because I am now homeless and living in my car with my dog. I prayed, had other christians praying for me, tithed, fasted, and believed God’s promises for help and deliverance, yet here I am sitting in the cold. Right now, I feel pathetic and worthless. I know God is in control and he cares, but what good does that do if he takes no action in my situation? How can I learn to trust him again if my faith goes unrewarded? Please pray for me, I don’t know how long I can live my life out of a car.

I don’t have the answer to every one’s problems and I’m not GOD. But I can say that when I let go of all my problems to CHRIST and started trusting in HIS SURE AND FINISHED WORK(FULLY) and stop trying to make things happen in my own effort. And realized that the work has already been done by CHRIST 2,000 years ago on the cross and to just simply receive HIS GRACE for what is needed. That’s when I seen HIM move in my life. Many of us have been taught erroneous doctrine that we have to perform to get. Which is far from what is really true. No the WORK is FINISHED RECEIVE this day whatever you need and be HEALED and RESTORED!!! To John I just feel impressed to tell you that GOD is FAITHFUL to FULFILL all that HE PROMISED you and that its TIME for you to let go of the condemnation and guilt trip in your heart. GOD is NOT judging you!!! There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in CHRIST JESUS. GOD will NEVER judge or comdemn any believer ever again because CHRIST has taken it all. HE was beaten so that you would never have to! Despite what you’ve done or ever will do. HE paid THE ULTIMATE PRICE for our sins. Stop trying to open a case that has been closed 2,000 years ago!!! Let go of the law and preach THE TRUE GOSPEL of GRACE to the CHURCH. Your RESTORATION is on the way…Just watch and SEE!!!
