Get Real!

Some of us have been brought up believing that we must come before the Almighty God in a quiet, polite and even docile manner. We are not to show any annoyance or frustration no matter how it has affected us. While having relevant reverence is obvious, overly husking our emotions will cause a detachment between reality and our God. This confusion underlined even greater anger or dissatisfaction that slowly murders our faith, or cools our passion.

Although we think that we would never talk to any person in pure frustration much less God, but God is saying its OK! See how King David laments with God in Psalms 22. People will get offended because they don’t know what you are going through, but God understands because He can see everything, your pain, your hurt, your injustice… He understands and He loves you.  For the LORD sees not as man sees; man looks on the outward appearance, but the LORD looks on the heart.” 1 Samuel 15:7

Hallelujah! How lovely our God is!

God wants a real relationship with you. Not a distanced proxy link cloaked with pretentious words, faithless rituals and useless status. He wants you to Get Real with Him, only then can He Get Real with you! Only the sick needs a doctor. If you are not frank with the doctor, how can he make you well?  “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” 2 Corinthians 12:9

Our God is NOT some lifeless carving or image, some impersonal divinity that we will never ever get to know, some power that is so far, some enlightenment that we need to attain, some work that we need to fulfill, some price we need to pay, some destiny that we cannot change, some ideology that we need to comprehend, some anger we need to appease, some ghost we need to chase.

Get Real, Grace Labyrinth Revisited

Our God, He has a face, He came for us, He lived among us, He live in us, He love us, He gave Himself to us, He wrestled with us, He went fishing with us, He prayed for us, He sat on a donkey, He had dinner with us, He partied with us, He made breakfast for us, He taught us, He reasoned with us, He encouraged us, He healed us, He fed us, He welcomed the children, He revealed heavenly secrets to us, He went hiking with us, He talk and chat with us, He told us “stories”, He cried for us, He cried with us, He is making preparation for us, He is waiting for us.

He is our Lord Jesus Christ.

    Beautiful!

Worship Him in TRUTH. He knows if we’re holding back. Why not just tell Him everything?

    Thanks.
