Knocking On Heaven’s Door

Sometimes it is interesting to notice in life our extreme intelligence and at the same time, the extreme foolishness of the human race; We may be the most intelligent being on this earth and yet we can do the stupidest thing. We may be ruling over the world but we are also killing it, together with ourselves in it all at the same time. We may discover the cures for diseases but we generate new ones every now and then. We may make complex theories about everything and anything but we would not accept the simplest of all answers. We may know the reason but we just don’t want to admit it. We think we have all the answers but we know we are bluffing ourselves.

We may be knocking on heaven’s door but we wonder why there is no answer.

Knocking On Heaven's Door

There is definitely evil and suffering in this once beautiful natural world, and we wonder why a good God allowed it to happen, even as nature and all its inhabitants is looking forward to its redemption, in Animal Instincts. People tried to understand nature by itself but always without full understanding because they cannot see the overall picture, at the source. As a student is never greater than the teacher, a slave never greater than the master, the physical can never be greater than the spiritual. God is Spirit, and in our fallen spiritually dead state, humans can never ever fully comprehend nature or any handy work of God. Just like a young child who cannot understand the working of his adult parents, why must they leave him to go to work, leaving him alone?

But Jesus came. He became the bridge between the spiritual and the physical. The Word became flesh, the Light that shines through in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. It leads throught the curtain-Christ’s body.   Hebrews 10:19-20

Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with them, and they with me.   Revelation 3:20

Knocking On Heaven's Door, Where is God

Jesus stands at the door of your heart and knock. He didn’t shout into your brains. Don’t Reply Too Much On Your Brains. People who try to search for answers with only their brains will not find it, simply because they are looking at the wrong place. All the answers can only be found in Jesus. During the time of Jesus’ ministry, most of the teachers of the law and Pharisees, experts in their fields, did not understand that Jesus is their answer. They are clueless and hard-hearted yet they led people away from God. Sadly, I see similarities between present teachers of (godless) nature and the ancient teachers of law. Jesus’ harshest words are reserved not towards sinners but towards these teachers. Matthew 12:34   Matthew 23:33   Only with an accepted heart for Jesus, can your brains make sense of everything perfectly.

Why knock on heaven’s door, when its Owner is knocking at yours.
