Yes, they are beautiful. It is actually from this site, Father’s Love Letter:

  5. nis says:

    this is hilarious!

  6. King David says:

    What is so hilarious?

  7. nis says:

these verses personify the Almighty God and make him sound as if he were truly one of his own creations… a human. what kind of BS’ed religion would have God actually “give up” things to “gain our love”? (referring to Romans 8:31-32) Also, how does God go about comparing his relationship with us, as people, to our relationships to our paternal father? This is just too ridiculous.

  8. nis says:

what’s the point of following a religion when all your sins are reconciled for by a single man’s act of self sacrifice?

  9. King David says:

You know, the beauty of the whole things is that God Almighty so loved His people that He came down to earth as human to die and redeem them. He compared Himself to earthly fathers but even more, the heavenly Father. You couldn’t have said it better: “all your sins are reconciled by a single Man’s – a single God ‘s act of self sacrifce.”

Human’s intelligence is too small to concoct something this big. So big that some cannot even accept even understanding it all. This is ridiculous? Yes! No man in his right mind would make such a sacrifice; only a God did.

You are right to say what is the point of following a religion? What is the point of a god (or gods) sitting on ivory towers high in heaven, waiting for worship and throwning blessings or curses as and when he deems fit. What is the point worship something god who doesn’t care you live or die. What is the point of life anyway?

The only thing that makes sense is that love conquers all. No point following a religion, follow a relationship, follow love.

He did this because of love.

    He is love.
