The World Stage, Another World

There are five paramount and pivotal events in history that brought forth, changes or will change the destiny of the entire planet earth; the World Stage. No, we talking something mammoth and definately bigger than the worst global warming crisis. From the Garden of Eden to our present moment, God has given us through the Bible an accurate history of the world, and much of it is written in advance for our knowledge and hope. It is probably the only true accurate account of history ever written journaling from since creation. So what are the five pivotal events the world has to witness then?

The very first pivotal event was the creation of the world, by the direct Word of God. The world was brought into (an exploding) existence and being by God Himself. The second event comes the worldwide flood and the accounts of Noah and floating Ark. A picture of God’s judgement on the sin in the world, primarily caused by the corruption of bloodline between human and “sons of God”, which denotes fallen angels: demons. But the Ark, a demostration of God’s mercy, provided a way of out onto life. The protection of the Ark gave, taking on the judgement of deadly water on and undernead it. This flood had such a catastrophic effect on the world that it still boggles the minds of scientists who finds fish bones at altitudes as high as fifteen thousand feet.

The World Stage, Give the Gift that Saves the Day: 2009 Holiday Giving CampaignThe third pivotal event in history is what Christmas is about, the first coming of Jesus Christ, the Messiah; the Promised One that was foretold through the Old Testament, thousands of years before His virgin birth. And that event literally gave birth to our salvation from sin. Jesus lived a perfect sinless life but died a sinner’s death in our place, as an sacrific for our sin. He took our place in the judgement of our sin, that we may have life. Like the Noah’s Ark, Jesus took on all the punishment and judgement but He held us within Himself safe from the gross death. Jesus died for the sin of the world, for all who would call upon Him to. A sad and heart-wrenching but necessary fourth pivotal event.

But that is not the end of the story. In the fifth pivotal event that will rock the world will be when Jesus comes back again! Both Old and New Testament in the Bible speaks of the second coming of our beloved Saviour. Jesus Himself declared: “When everything is ready, I will come and get you, so that you will always be with me where I am.” John14:3    This glorious appearing of Jesus’ second coming will ush in the beginning of the millennial kingdom, the true utopia. A real paradise on earth with our Messiah on his throne of kingship. In a global kingdom where World Peace will never a a cliché again. The world will be thriving with life and love abounds, people living in righteousness and abundances.

What a beautiful destiny we have. Don’t waste effort trying to save the mother earth, rather save souls into the eternal salvation provided by the Father. World peace is just an fantastic illusion without the Prince of Peace at His rightful throne. Right living doesn’t work until we have the right believing, that Jesus alone is our righteousness. God’s precious gift…

…God’s gracious gift. For the sin of this one man, Adam, brought death to many. But even greater is God’s wonderful grace and his gift of forgiveness to many through this other man, Jesus Christ. And the result of God’s gracious gift is very different from the result of that one man’s sin. For Adam’s sin led to condemnation, but God’s free gift leads to our being made right with God, even though we are guilty of many sins. For the sin of this one man, Adam, caused death to rule over many. But even greater is God’s wonderful grace and his gift of righteousness, for all who receive it will live in triumph over sin and death through this one man, Jesus Christ.

Yes, Adam’s one sin brings condemnation for everyone, but Christ’s one act of righteousness brings a right relationship with God and new life for everyone. Because one person disobeyed God, many became sinners. But because one other person obeyed God, many will be made righteous.

God’s law was given so that all people could see how sinful they were. But as people sinned more and more, God’s wonderful grace became more abundant. So just as sin ruled over all people and brought them to death, now God’s wonderful grace rules instead, giving us right standing with God and resulting in eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.     Romans 5:15-21
