Forgiveness

Forgiveness is tough work.

Forgiving not only requires tremendous strength and fortitude, it is changing the most unnatural into something unnaturally powerful. It is love in the highest and most beautiful form. 

A love’s prison break, to forgive is to set the prisoners free.

Then he took a cup, and when he had given thanks, he gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you. This is my blood of the *new covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins. Matthew 26:27-28

    No, the word is “testament”, the root being testa, the outer covering of a seed and consistent with the book of John where the Word is made flesh, and also the parable of the sower Matt 13. Last “Will and Testament” addresses the duality of man, temporal and spiritual, will addressing his spiritual inclination and testament, the blood relationship in which a man leaves his prodigy his estate.
    Remission, not forgiveness, a postponement for the moment and an indication that Christ was aware that not many Jews would come by that blood of His Grace. I have never found, in my study, where Peter ever acquired that Faith that Jesus Himself prayed that Peter would convert to in Luke 22:32
