A Prayer To Accept Jesus Christ

Jesus Christ has already done everything necessary to redeem you and restore you to sweet fellowship with Him and God the Father. But His finished work can only become real in your life if you make a personal decision to accept Him.

Accepting Jesus as your Lord and Saviour will not only save you from eternal judgement, but instead bless you health, joy, peace, love, hope, unconditional acceptance, favour, prosperity — every good thing that you can think of and more!

If you would like to accept Jesus and all that He has done for you, say this prayer and mean it from your heart:

Lord Jesus, thank You for loving me and dying for me on the cross. Your precious blood washes me clean of every sin. You are my Lord and my Saviour, now and forever. I believe that You rose from the dead and that You are alive today. Because of Your finished work, I am now a beloved child of God and heaven is my home. Thank You for giving me eternal life and filling my heart with Your peace and joy.
In Jesus’ name. Amen.

If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by confessing with your mouth that you are saved.   Romans 10:9-10

We need to be very careful when we say things like:”Accepting Jesus as your Lord and Saviour will not only save you from eternal judgement, but instead bless you health, joy, peace, love, hope, unconditional acceptance, favour, prosperity — every good thing that you can think of and more!” What do we say when a follower of Jesus Christ has cancer? God didn’t bless him/her? Prosperity?, what’s that? winning the lottery? What about the brother or sister of Christ who loses their job? Let’s not add words that make it seem that when you believe in Jesus Christ your troubles are over……..the reality the troubles are just beginning because a friend of Jesus is not a friend of the world.

    • King David says:

Yes, I am very careful to write about the promises of God. I do not want to over-promise but I don’t want to under-value the riches in the bible. These promises are not from me, they are they the bible. And if the bible tells me I am blessed, I declare I am very blessed!

And you shall remember the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day.
      Deuteronomy 8:18

For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich.
      2 Corinthians 8:9

And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
      Philippians 4:19

Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom…
      Luke 6:38

He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?
      Romans 8:32
