I read that Judgement Day is tomorrow, 21st May 2011 as claimed by American preachers, see here.
Since they did not publish their “biblical calculations”, there is no way to know its credibility. I have actually seen Americans on our streets giving out “doomsday” tracks to the general public, and just say I am half way around the globe from the US. Well-meaning as they were, I am not too sure if it is the best way to herd people into heaven…
However, what I do know from the Bible is:
“However, no one knows the day or hour when these things will happen, not even the angels in heaven or the Son himself. Only the Father knows. Matthew 24:36
Neither the angels in heaven nor the Son, Jesus know the time; only the Father does. So how can anyone claim that they know anything about the exact timing?
Instead of speculating and conjouring fear for the Day, because Christ will come when we least expect Him, we should stay vigilant living as salt and light for the world.
“Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come. But understand this: If the owner of the house had known at what time of night the thief was coming, he would have kept watch and would not have let his house be broken into. So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him. Matthew 24:42-44
PS: if Christ really return tomorrow, it would be the perfect timing because I will be returning from a long holiday… and my holiday will never end… Woohoo…

Nobody knows when the last day will be but everyone can know when it can NOT be.
1. The rapture is after the great tribulation.
2. The great tribulations starts after the anti-christ stands up to put a stop to animal sacrifices in the third temple in Jerusalem.
3. To restart the sacrifices, the temple must be built.
4. To build the temple, a peace agreement between Israel and Palestine must be signed.
5. To sign a peace agreement, Palestine must become a recognized nation by the U.N. and after a war between the two nations.
Once the anti-christ (who helped make the peace agreement) becomes known, there will be 3 1/2 years of hell on earth left. That is when the mark of the beast becomes mandatory. That is when the rapture will happen.
God has shown many examples of when the rapture will happen:
A. Noah lived in a time of tribulation.
God put him and his family on the ark (raptured – taken away – saved from horror)
God brought judgment (flood)
B. Moses lived in a time of tribulation in Egypt.
God raptured him and his extended family (lead him to safety in the wilderness thru the Red Sea)
God brought judgment (tsunami to Pharaoh’s army)
C. Lot lived in a time of tribulation (Sodom and Gomorrah).
God raptured him and his family (lead them out of town to the hills)
God brought judgment (rained fire and brimstone)
We too will have to live in the time of tribulation but will be raptured and then God will bring judgment.
