Understand My Purpose and My Future

Lord, help me to be a person who brings the good news of Your salvation to others. Enable me to bring Your peace and deliverance to those who need it. Give me the ability to forget about my own selfishness and concentrate on helping to meet the needs of others. I know You will fulfill and overflow my needs and desires in my life. Show me how to proclaim Your kingdom wherever I go. Just as You reign on earth, I ask You to also reign in my heart. Rule in my life and take me into the future You have for me.

In Jesus’ name. Amen.

How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news, who proclaims peace, who brings glad tidings of good things, who proclaims salvation, who says to Zion, “Your God reigns!”

Isaiah 52:7

Nation will go to war against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be earthquakes in many parts of the world, as well as famines. But this is only the first of the birth pains, with more to come.   Mark 13:8

Father, you are the absolute Sovereign over the shaking of the earth, the rising of the sea, and the raging of the waves. We see the fragility and the helplessness of man.

We know that such forces of destruction and death are not from you. We know you are in much sadness as we are. We want to stand in intercession for the nation of Japan. Not for what they or we deserve, but Your undeserved mercy and grace.

We know this is the beginning of the birth pains. The time is short, and we pray that Your compassion and mercy will be pouring and ministering in their midst. Let Your Good News be spreaded to this ancient land and people. And let your goodness and salvation come to this traumatised nation. Pursue them. Win them. Save them.

May every heart-breaking loss be healed by the nail-pierced hands of the risen Christ. For You are not unacquainted with your creations’ pain. You did not spare your own Son, but gave him up for us all.

And may You turn this dusk of destruction into the dawn of a new creation. That the SON will be raising up on them from this time forth.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Help in My Relationships, Young and In Love

Lord, when I am disappointed with people in my life, I pray You would help me to release him or her, and the memory of the hurt to You. I don’t want to carry around grief and sadness like a burden, because it is too heavy for me to bear. I know you will lift me up instead and carry that burden for me. I release the burden of that relationship into Your hands right now. I don’t want to live in the darkness of bitterness and unforgiveness. I want to live in Your light where I will not stumble.

Help me to move in Your love with regard to other people in my life. Help us to be in unity with one another since we all have the mind of Christ and the same Holy Spirit living in us.

And he has given us this command: Anyone who loves God must also love their brother and sister.   1 John 4:21

  A New Attitude, Icelandic handiwork

Thank You, Lord, for Your grace and faith You have given me. Help me to never forget that Your salvation is purely a gift, that I cannot get through any other means. Help me not to take this gift for granted for it is so precious that You gave Your life for it.  Help me to constantly see your goodness and with slient gratitude not only to the eternity in heaven but also life on earth. Help me to never have an arrogant or casual attitude about the blessings You have given me, as if I had done anything to deserve them or earn them. Give me a renewed attitude of ourselves, yuor handiwork, in Jesus Christ.

In Jesus’ name. Amen.

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— 9 not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.  Ephesians 2:8-10

Help in Tough Times, Weather Changes Mood. [EXPLORED]

Dear God, I thank You that the difficult situations in my life will not last forever. I pray You will cause them all to come to a good finish and that each outcome will bring glory to You. Help me to not dwell on the problems I see, but to dwell on Your power and mercy, which I may not be able to see at the time, but I know is always there for me. Help me to remember that my problems are temporal, but what You will do in me in the midst of them will last and glory forever. Hallelujah!

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

For our present troubles are small and won’t last very long. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever! So we don’t look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever. 2 Corinthians 4:17-18

Lord, I come to You today and thank You that the victory in my life has already been won over the enemy. Thank You, Jesus, that You loved me enough to die for me so I could be saved. Thank You, God, that You are always on my side. We simply only need to declare and claim Your victory.

That knowledge gives me great comfort, rest and healing in my soul. Because of You I don’t have to be afraid of the enemy’s plans against me. If You are for me, WHO can be against me. Reveal to me whatI need to see about the victories in my life. Show me when and how to pray as I am completely protected under Your covering.

In Jesus’ name. Amen.

When I cry out to You, then my enemies will turn back; this I know, because God is for me.

Psalm 56:9

  When I Need Victory,

Thank You, Lord, that You have given me authority over all the power of the enemy. Help me to remember this when I feel weak, helpless or threatened by  the enemy’s attacks. Help me learn how to use the authority You have given me to defeat him every time he encroaches upon my life. Enable me to trample the things that rise up against me and threaten to destroy me. I know that the victory is already won. And in the process we plunder the enemy instead.

Thank You that Your Spirit in me is greater than all the plans of the enemy. Thank You, Lord, that You will never let the enemy destroy me. For You are with me.

In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.   Luke 10:19

Lord, I am poor in spirit without You. But with You I am rich and prosperous in my soul. I ask that You would help me in my time of need. Pour out Your Spirit afresh in my heart and help me to experience Your complete deliverance and restoration in my life. I confess that I get impatient because I want to have total freedom and wholeness now. Give me patience to wait on Your timing for everything.

I waited patiently for the Lord to help me, and he turned to me and heard my cry. He lifted me out of the pit of despair, out of the mud and the mire. He set my feet on solid ground and steadied me as I walked along. He has given me a new song to sing, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see what he has done and be amazed. They will put their trust in the Lord.

Oh, the joys of those who trust the Lord, who have no confidence in the proud or in those who worship idols. O Lord my God, you have performed many wonders for us. Your plans for us are too numerous to list. You have no equal. If I tried to recite all your wonderful deeds, I would never come to the end of them.

Please, Lord, rescue me! Come quickly, Lord, and help me. May those who try to destroy me be humiliated and put to shame. May those who take delight in my trouble be turned back in disgrace. Let them be horrified by their shame, for they said, “Aha! We’ve got him now!”

But may all who search for you be filled with joy and gladness in you. May those who love your salvation repeatedly shout, “The Lord is great!” As for me, since I am poor and needy, let the Lord keep me in his thoughts. You are my helper and my savior. O my God, do not delay.   Psalms 40:1-5; 13-17

Deliverance and Restoration, My Shepherd , Avon meadows

Thank You Lord, that You are a God of redemption and restoration. You are the Shepherd of my life, what more can I ever ask for! You rest me in the green meadow and walks with me behind the peaceful water streams.

Thank You that You are restoring my soul. Humble as I am, but yet I am so glad that I can still bring honour to Your Almighty name. Continue to lead me in Your paths of righteousness for Your glory so that I can become more like You. I pray You will continue to work deliverance in me and bring restoration to my life until I am complete-just as You created me to be.

With Your deliverance and restoration You have worked in my life, even though I walk through the darkest valley of death and condemnation, I have no fear for You are with me always. Your rod, Your staff – Your hands; strong and mighty but yet gentle, they protect me, they comfort me.

A Prayer For Deliverance and Restoration, My Shepherd

You set up a feast for me in the presence of my enemies and naysayers. You vindicate me in front of everyone! And You also honour me by annointing my head with oil. I don’t deserve any of these but still You overflow my cup, my being, over and over.

I know, surely, Your goodness and unfailing love will constantly accompany me all the days of my life. I will live in the house of the Lord through all eternity. What else can I ask for?

Thank You, Lord Jesus…

In Jesus’ name.

Amen.

Hope and Joy in My Heart , “I will write peace on your wings and you will fly all over the world.”

Lord, I put my trust in You and thank You that You are my defender and protector. I ask that You would protect me from all evil influences and dangers. And no weapons formed against me will ever prosper because You are with me. Come to my defense against the plans of the enemy to destroy my life. You are my Shepherd, I have no more fear. I can finally rest in You for You are with me always. I love You, Lord, and I put my trust in You. It gives me great joy to know that You hear my prayers and will answer them because of my love for You and the reverence I have for Your name.

In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Let all those rejoice who put their trust in You; let them ever shout for joy, because You defend them; let those also who love Your name be joyful in You.  Psalm 5:11

I Am Forever Yours, "Officially Yours"

Lord, help me to remember that no matter what happens in my life, I belong to You. In life and in death, I am Yours. You will not leave me nor forsake me, because You love me too much. Even when I fail, stray, or do stupid things, You still love me and I am still Yours. Even when I forget to pray or read Your Word, You are there waiting because I am still Yours. I release my life into Your hands, and wherever I have held on to my life in order to try and make things happen, I let go of all that. I want You to be in charge from now on.

In Jesus’ name. Amen.

For we don’t live for ourselves or die for ourselves. If we live, it’s to honor the Lord. And if we die, it’s to honor the Lord. So whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord. Christ died and rose again for this very purpose—to be Lord both of the living and of the dead.     Romans 14:7-9

Speak Life , Look at the view

Lord, I pray You would give me the perfect words to say every time I am called upon to speak; in casual conversation, one-on-one, or in front of a group of people. Let me not worry about what to say or feel concerned because I know you are my mouth-piece. Let me not be afraid of what I may say or didn’t say or how it may come out. Lord, I know from Your Word that You can give me words to say and the perfect timing as to when to say them. I pray You would give me that ability always. Let me be like You to speak life into anyone and any situation.

In Jesus’ name. Amen.

When you are arrested, don’t worry about how to respond or what to say. God will give you the right words at the right time. For it is not you who will be speaking—it will be the Spirit of your Father speaking through you.  Matthew 10:19-20
